I absolutely adore helping locals in my area celebrate their special events. I love working within my own community and having the opportunity to serve the families in the City of Palmerston. Recently I had the chance to twist balloons for the national Simultaneous Storytime Event at the City of Palmerston Library.
If you’re not familiar with the event (as it was new to me too!), at libraries across the country, the same storybook was read to the children at the same time. The story of the day was ‘Alpacas with Maracas’ – and I had a lot of fun coming up with a design for the theme of both alpacas and maracas!
I had the absolute pleasure of working alongside CGee of Mirror on the Wall who painted up some beautiful faces.
